Dear Friend,

Steve and Jeri HillRight off, I’d like to confess two things: one, I’ve got a horrible past; and two, religion bores me. The good news is that God transforms any past (of this I’m certain) and He’s not interested in religion either. Religion is man’s futile attempt to find God; Christianity is God successfully finding man.

God cares more about the condition of your heart, your inner self, than any religious activity or declaration you might do to impress others. That’s why, whatever you think brought you here today, I believe you came to a divine appointment.

Maybe something inside you is uneasy or dark. Maybe you’re wondering if God is real or just an emotional concept. Maybe you’ve gone to church all your life and been a believer since preschool. Maybe you’re drifting back from years of hating God. Or the church you grew up in wounded you. Or a Christian you know has something you privately long for. Maybe you’re here because you want your kids to believe in more than name brands and digital entertainment. Maybe you’re church-shopping. Or you want peace. Or you’re new to the area. Maybe you’re not sure.

Welcome to a church that is sure of a God whose Word leaps from the pages of the Bible. Welcome to powerful messages searing with words like sin and repent and saved and the blood of Jesus. When the meaning of those words get inside you, it will revolutionize your world. Truth and Love have that kind of power. Welcome to a place where you will experience God’s power.
